Getting started
Start with a client and a session record in SomaTrace. Then explore online booking, payment records and calendar subscriptions as you need them.
Start with one client and one session record. Once you are comfortable recording your work, set up booking and the other tools that fit your practice.
Step 1: Add your first client
In 「個案」 (Clients), select 「+」, enter the client’s name under 「個案姓名」 (Client name) and choose 「新增個案」 (Add client). Search first to check for an existing profile so you can keep the person’s records together.

Step 2: Record a session
Start with the client’s discomfort, your observations and what you felt during palpation. If you prefer working visually, begin with a drawing, then check the regions and ratings before importing them into the session record.
Record a session: use drawings and discomfort entries, then add body and movement observations Record touch and sensation: note region, depth, tissue feel and the client’s response Review a session: compare before and after, then record key actions and what to check next time
Step 3: Set up online booking when you need it
When you are ready for clients to choose their own times, start with the public booking page. If you use LINE to stay in touch, the LINE guides cover the related setup.
Set up your public booking page: prepare booking information and availability Connect your LINE Official Account: follow the connection and setup guide Let clients book through LINE: learn how to provide a booking entry point
Before sharing the page, walk through it as a client and check the service, times and contact information.
Step 4: Add the tools you need
As you build up records and bookings, use these guides for the task at hand:
Create a booking from a message: handle booking requests in LINE conversations Payments and deposits: record deposits and balances Merge clients created through LINE: tidy up duplicate client profiles AI summaries and reports: review the content, copy it into your own ChatGPT and save the result Subscribe to your booking calendar on iPhone: view bookings through a read-only calendar subscription Connect Google Calendar: choose busy sources and a calendar for appointment export; this is separate from the read-only appointment calendar feed Client tags and online-booking restrictions: group clients for filtering, or separately restrict their self-service booking
You can set these up over time. Start with a useful first record, then add the tools you will use.
