Review a session
Compare before-and-after ratings in SomaTrace, then record key steps, follow-up checks and notes from the session.
First reassess the recorded items, then add key steps and what to check next time. The flow has two steps: 「1 重新評估」 (1 Reassess) and 「2 關鍵操作」 (2 Key steps). There is no need to rewrite the whole session.
This guide follows the Traditional Chinese interface labels, with English explanations.
1. Start the review
Open the session, check the client and date, then select 「開始復盤」 (Start review).

2. Compare before and now
Review each listed item. Compare 「原先」 (Before) with your reassessment and enter a 0–10 rating under 「現在」 (Now). Leave items you have not reassessed blank, and choose 「不確定」 (Uncertain) when you cannot judge one; keep 0 for items you have checked and found clear.

You can also fill in or correct the score under 「原先」 (Before). That field is for the state before treatment; after-treatment scores always go under 「現在」 (Now).
Use 「只看尚未復盤」 (Show only findings not reviewed) to find items still to check. Keep the observation method and rating criteria consistent where possible. Record unchanged or more noticeable findings too.
Changes to the 「現在」 (Now) rating save in the background straight away, before you select Finish review, so check you are on the right session and item before entering a score.
When ready, select 「下一步:關鍵操作」 (Next: key steps).

3. Add a key step
In 「2 關鍵操作」 (2 Key steps), select 「+ 新增關鍵操作」 (+ Add key step). This section is optional and records what you actually did.
Under 「操作範圍」 (Scope), choose 「指定部位」 (Specific area) or 「整體/不指定部位」 (Whole person / no specific area). Use a specific area for local work. Choose 「操作部位」 (Treated area). Side choices are unspecified, left, right or midline. Use 「加另一側」 (Add other side) when needed. Left and right refer to the client’s own sides.

For a more precise location, use the optional 「細選肌肉」 (Choose specific muscles) field and search by name. Select 「手法」 (Technique), such as pressure, fascial glide, stretching, rocking or breathing guidance, or enter a custom technique. Optionally select 「關聯觀察」 (Related findings) to keep related notes together for later review. A link is a note to yourself, not proof that the step caused the change. Use 「其他反應」 (Other response) for reactions you actually observed or heard. Check the region, side, technique and text, then select 「套用操作」 (Apply step). For a specific-area step, select the area and technique first.

Applied steps appear as cards. Use 「編輯」 (Edit) to make changes. The editor also offers 「移除這筆操作」 (Remove this step); check the item before removing it.

For example, if you applied pressure to the client’s right anterior chest, select 「前胸」 (anterior chest) as the region, 「右側」 (right) as the side and 「按壓」 (pressure) as the technique, then link the discomfort observation if useful. If you are not yet sure why a score dropped, just note that it is still to be confirmed.
4. Leave follow-up notes
Use 「下次先確認」 (Check next visit) for a movement to reassess or a question to ask. Add 「補充備註」 (+ Add a note) if needed. Keep observations, the client’s words and your interpretations apart.

5. Finish and check
Review the ratings, key steps and notes, then select 「完成復盤」 (Finish review). Reopen the same session. In 「基本」 (Basic), find 「本次復盤結果」 (This visit’s review) and check the before/now ratings, key steps and follow-up notes. Select 「編輯復盤」 (Edit review) to return to the flow.

Before-and-after observations help with reflection. Read them together with the observation conditions and how the client felt at the time, and look across several sessions before deciding what caused a change.
Switch the before-and-after view
In the saved session’s Observations tab, use 「按住看處理後」 (Hold for after) to switch comparison state. Release it to return to before, or press Enter to keep the alternate state selected. Check whether the current label says Before or After as you read.

If the device cannot display 3D, the figure stays blank but the record is still there: use the observation list and the review results in Basic.
