Client tags and online-booking restrictions

Create and manage client tags, filter by multiple tags, and understand how to restrict or restore self-service booking.

Tags help you group and find clients. To stop a client booking themselves, use the separate 「不開放線上預約」 (Turn off online booking) setting in section 4; a tag on its own does not limit booking.

This guide follows the Traditional Chinese interface labels, with English explanations.

1. Apply tags

Open the client in Clients. Select the tag row under the name, or 「標籤」 (Tags) if none are applied.

Select the desired tags. To add a new one, enter its name and choose the Add item that appears.

Select Done, then check the client page.

Colours are only there to tell categories apart.

2. Filter the client list

Select tags below the search field. Multiple tags use an intersection: selecting VIP and Regular leaves clients who have both.

Select a tag again to clear it, or use Clear filter. The row displays tags currently used by clients; a tag with no matching results becomes dimmed. Search text also affects which tags can be selected. Check both search and filters if a client seems missing.

3. Manage names and colours

Open Settings → Custom lists → Client tags. The manager shows how many clients use each tag.

Open the tag editor. Change the name or colour. The palette offers teal, blue, indigo, purple, pink and slate.

Save and check the client list, or Cancel without changing it.

Check the usage count before deleting a tag to make sure the category is no longer needed. Deleting a tag only removes it from clients; their records stay as they are.

4. Restrict self-service booking

Open the client and choose Client options → Turn off online booking.

Check the client and explanation, then add a reason if useful. Keep it short and specific; sensitive detail can be left out. Select Turn off only after confirming this is the intended client.

The restriction stops the client booking themselves from your public page or LINE. You can still create appointments for them by hand, and booking links you send them still work.

The reason is visible only to you and is never sent to the client.

Existing appointments and restoring access

Existing bookings are not cancelled automatically. Before turning booking off, look at the client’s upcoming appointments and handle any rescheduling or cancellation one by one, including notifications and payments.

To reopen access, return to the same client’s options and select 「恢復線上預約」 (Turn online booking back on). The private reason note is cleared; check the status has changed before sharing the booking entry point again.
